In-Depth Reviews for Will Power

Involved in the 15-car pileup that claimed the life of Dan Wheldon on October 16 in Las Vegas, Will Power was transferred to the hospital for observation. The Australian was experiencing pain in his upper back after his Penske Racing Dallara took an impressive gliding flight. However, Power had received authorization to leave the Las Vegas University Hospital the same evening of the crash.

Yesterday, Dr Terry Trammell, orthopedist, however detected a compression fracture at the level of the fourth dorsal vertebra, and recommended rest and rehabilitation for the Toowoomba native. If Dr. Trammell will monitor the progress of the injury, Will Power hopes to be able to get back behind the wheel of the 2012 Dallara in the coming weeks. Nothing serious therefore, and no worries regarding next season.
