Felix Rosenqvist will drive for Ganassi in 2019

Felix rosenqvist will be Scott Dixon's teammate in 2019 in IndyCar within Chip Ganassi Racing. The American team confirmed the information this Friday, a few days after seeing Dixon win a fifth title in the overseas series after the final in Sonoma, California.

The Swede, who passed victoriously through F3 (with successes in Macau), the GT3 (notably with the AKKA-ASP team of Jérôme Policand), the DTM or the Formula E with Mahindra Racing, will enter full-time in the championship with a team that he knows well having already achieved tests two years ago and last year.

Rosenqvist also knows the IndyCar environment having competed in Indy Lights with Belardi Auto Racing in 2016. “The time was right to put him in the No. 10 car and I think I speak for a lot of people when I say we can’t wait to see what he can do behind the wheel next season. » admits boss Chip Ganassi.
