Josef Newgarden made a mistake during the fourth practice session of the Indy 500. The Team Penske resident completed 35 laps before losing control of his No. 12 DW2-Chevrolet at turn No. 1 and colliding the wall.
“I'm going to have a little bruise on my foot for a few weeks, but I'll be able to live with that, commented Josef Newgarden once he left the medical center. I'm doing great but I didn't want something like this to happen. This is a difficulty for the No. 2 team. It was probably a mistake on my part, but it's hard to know until I take a look at the data. »
