IndyCar – Bourdais: “Pure racing”

La F1, Sebastian Bourdais attended it in 2008 and 2009 under the colors Toro Rosso after his glorious years in Champ Car with four consecutive titles between 2004 and 2007. Since his return to IndyCar full-time in 2013, the Frenchman added two successes to his collection, the latest in Detroit (Michigan) the last weekend.

Winner of the second race contested in very tricky conditions on the soggy Belle Isle track, the driver of the Dallara DW12-Chevrolet n°11 of KVSH Racing did not hide in an interview with Detroit Free Press his preference for the jousting on American tracks.

“In IndyCar, no one makes money. It's just pure racing. Driving in the rain in Detroit is harder than on any other circuit in F1, including Monaco. F1 has ruined every track. They took away their character, making them soulless. It hurts me. Monaco is just a damn parking lot with a few turns." comments Le Manceau.
