IndyCar – Brasilia, a new event in 2015

THEIndyCar will return to Brazil After the Sao Paulo street circuit, organizers announced that Brasilia would host the American single-seater discipline on March 8 at the Autodromo Internacional Nelson Piquet. Brazil has been on the calendar for many years since CART visited the Sao Paulo oval from 1996 to 2000 before returning to an urban route in the same city from 2010 until last year. “We wanted to continue the rich history of competition in Brazil with this announcement”, comments Mark Miles, CEO of Hulman & Company (owner of IndyCar). “This event is a step in the evolution of IndyCar as we continue to add competition markets. »

Tony Kanaan and Helio Castroneves are obviously delighted to see Brazil return to IndyCar from next year. “This is fantastic news!
