IndyCar-C2: Pagenaud takes his revenge in Houston!

simon pagenaud took his revenge at the Houston Grand Prix where Race 2 was contested. The Frenchman won his second victory of the season after the Indianapolis GP and turns the page on the event the day before where he did not only took 16th position after starting from pole. The success was total for Schmidt Peterson Motorsports, which scored a double with Mikhail Aleshin for the first time in the top five. The rookies are in the spotlight as Jack Hawksworth (BHA) follows in third position ahead of Charlie Kimball (Chip Ganassi Racing).

Sébastien Bourdais (KVSH Racing) once again had a superb race, finishing in the top five after getting on the podium in Race 1. The four-time champion, however, was not spared as he crashed with Helio Castroneves (Team Penske), damaging his front wing. The author of the pole had to retire but his delay could have been worse if Will Power (Team Penske) had not hit a wall of tires on the last lap while he was in third place. The Championship leader leaves Houston maintaining a lead of 39 points.
