IndyCar – Dale Coyne Racing associated with Vasser and Sullivan

Dale Coyne Racing becomes Dale Coyne Racing with Vasser Sullivan with the arrival of Jimmy Vasser and James Sulllivan as co-owners of the team. The structure will have SealMaster as main sponsor for nine of the 17 races on Sébastien's No. 12 DW18 Bourdais.

“I was immediately interested when Jimmy, Sully and I started talking about this partnership, comments Dale Coyne. They have achieved many successes in the past in IndyCar and I am delighted to have them as partners. It's an opportunity I couldn't refuse. The future looks bright. »

Jimmy Vasser, CART champion in 1996 with Chip Ganassi Racing, justified his decision to return to the discipline with Dale Coyne Racing.

“I took a season out of the sport for the first time in several years and realized how much I missed it, he explained. This is a new chapter in my career. With (so much support), we will be able to regain the glory of our former successes and fight for victories again in 2018.”

Jimmy Vasser and James Sullivan have already worked together within KV Racing Technology and KVSH Racing, culminating in Tony Kanaan's victory at the Indy 500 in 2013.

Sébastien Bourdais will compete in his 13th season in IndyCar, his third with Dale Coyne Racing. The four-time Champ Car champion will team up with a second driver who has not yet been announced.
