Chip Ganassi Racing made its mark by achieving the best times with its four drivers at the Sebring tests (Florida), the last session before the start of the season on March 12 in St Petersburg (Florida).
Scott Dixon led this quadruple with a time of 51”13 where he was a few tenths ahead of his teammates Charlie Kimball, Max Chilton and Tony Kanaan.
The team now powered by Honda preceded the Team Penske quartet. Will Power completed the top five just over half a second behind the benchmark time, ahead of the reigning champion simon pagenaud, Helio Castroneves and Josef Newgarden.
AJ Foyt Racing drivers Carlos Munoz and Conor Daly completed the top ten ahead of Schmidt Peterson Motorsport drivers James Hinchcliffe and Mikhail Aleshin. The Canadian also took advantage of this test session to test his car à his compatriot Robert Wickens.
Andretti Autosport will take over this Wednesday, March 1 at the Sebring track. Schmidt Peterson Motorsports will notably run Pipo Derani.
