IndyCar – Florian Latorre 2000 USF2014 champion

As the NASCAR has a multitude of accession divisions, theIndyCar has its Road to Indy, a sort of initiatory journey of accession to the queen series of car American. In addition to IndyCar, there are Indy Lights, Pro Mazda and USF2000. And it's a French driver who has just won the 2014 title. Florian Latorre, 16, won the race this Saturday in Sonoma, California, by winning the last race of the season. After a well-run season, punctuated by three victories (all won during the last three meetings in Toronto in Canada, in Mid-Ohio and therefore in Sonoma), Latorre is ahead of RC Enerson by four points and Jake Eidson by ten points, their championship rivals.

The Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing driver had a 30-point margin before this final meeting in Sonoma and knew how to handle the pressure. In addition to the title, he pockets a sum of more than $350 which should allow him to move up next year to the next level of the Pro Mazda Championship where a certain Tristan Vautier won in 000. Let's wish Florian the same journey that his eldest, he who comes from karting before breaking out in the French FFSA F4 Championship in 2012, before crossing the Atlantic last year to arrive in USF2000.
