IndyCar – Josef Newgarden stays at CFH Racing

Driver of Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing between 2012 and 2014, Joseph Newgarden had logically continued the adventure within the new CFH Racing team, born at the start of the season from the association between SFH Racing and Ed Carpenter Racing.

The 2011 Indy Lights champion will return to the race seat in 2016. the Dallara DW12 n°67 with a Chevrolet engine, after signing a new contract. “I am very excited to stay with CFH Racing, specifies the 24-year-old pilot. Winner twice in 2015 in IndyCar in Alabama and Toronto in Canada, all accompanied by two second places in Iowa and Pocono, Newgarden finished in 7th place in the final ranking, and pleased his boss Ed Carpenter. “We aim to become a major force in IndyCar and we see Josef as an essential piece to that. We plan to keep him in a CFH car for a long time. »
