Indycar – Dreyer & Reinbold Racing withdraws after the Indianapolis 500

They will not go any further. Dreyer & Reinbold Racing will continue its involvement in the championship?Indycar until the Indy 500, before withdrawing due to lack of budget. It was Dennis Reinbold, the co-owner of the stable, who announced it in a statement on its website. “We have a long history at the Indianapolis 500 and this is our priority now”, explained the manager. It's a real cold shower for Oriol Servia, the Spanish pilot, who had big ambitions this season after encouraging results last year. Still, the Hispanic will have the opportunity to defend his chances once again in Indianapolis, having finished fourth last year, thus signing his best result as well as that of his team at the Indy 500.

Despite its withdrawal, the Carmel, Indiana-based team will continue to work with a reduced team and attempt to rebuild. At the very least, she hopes to be able to enter a car again next season in the Indianapolis 500. Note that this departure will not impact Panther Racing, with which the DRR was allied, Dennis Reinbold insisted. JR Hildebrand, in car no. 4, should be able to complete his season normally.
