IndyCar – Firestone 600 in Texas postponed to August

The Firestone 600 did not come to fruition. After an interruption following the crash of Josef Newgarden and Conor Daly, it was the weather which disrupted the smooth running of the event even though the race had already been postponed for a day due to rain.

Despite a red flag for several hours, track conditions forced officials to postpone the rest of the race. After a practice session, the event will resume on the 72nd lap on Saturday August 27.
