IndyCar – Max Chilton extends with Ganassi

Arriving in the American team at the start of the year from the Indy Lights Series, Max Chilton will compete in 2017 for his second campaign in IndyCar Series. The British driver will find his teammates Scott Dixon, Charlie Kimball and Tony Kanaan, an unchanged line-up for Chip Ganassi's team.

“The learning curve is very steep and the grid is only seconds apart with some truly talented teams and drivers, making the competition incredibly close, comments the former pilot F1. Now having a year of experience during which I was able to adapt to the car and learn all the circuits on the calendar is very important. »

Chilton, whose best result this year remains a seventh place in Phoenix (Arizona), will be supported in 2017 by sponsor Arthur J. Gallagher & Co, and will drive the car badged with the No. 8 and powered by the Honda engine block, which replaced Chevrolet.
