Carlos Munoz will be one to watch this season in IndyCar. The 22-year-old Colombian distinguished himself last year by taking second place in his first participation in the Indianapolis 500 and, unsurprisingly, won a seat in his first full season. The driver of the #12 DW34 completed his first full day of testing at Sebring during a session organized by engine manufacturer Honda. Andretti's new recruit will take the wheel again on March 17 and 18 during the Open Test held at Barber Motorsports Park.
“It’s a good thing for me to find my speed and improve my relationship with my engineer (Garrett Mothersead) and my mechanics,” said Carlos Munoz, who has only three IndyCar starts with his team. “I'm going to have to work hard so that the car be 100% ready for St. Petersburg (March 30). It will be an interesting season which will be very demanding. »
