IndyCar – Pagenaud remains a good player at Indy 500

simon pagenaud had the potential to win the 99th edition of the Indianapolis 500, but his hopes of victory went up in smoke when a slight contact with Scott Dixon (Ganassi Racing) forced him to return to the pits to change his front wing. “I moved up to 10th position in just 10 laps. It just goes to show how fast the car was.", underlined the pilot of the Team Penske.

The disappointment is great for the Poitevin who remains a good player by congratulating his teammate Juan Pablo Montoya, winner for the second time of this legendary event. “I'm disappointed but at the same time very happy for Juan Pablo... This guy is incredible, especially on the ovals. He deserves victory. He had a problem at the start of the race but he was able to come back. It's Juan Pablo, he's so good on superspeedways. I'm going to have to learn a little from him.", added Simon Pagenaud with humility.
