IndyCar – A look back at Castroneves’ career

Helio Castroneves ended its program in IndyCar to join theIMSA with Team Penske. The Brazilian is not saying goodbye to the discipline since he will return to the Indy 500 last May, but this departure had enough impact for the organizers to publish a video retracing his journey in the series.

The Penske driver has 20 seasons in IndyCar in his career. He has won 30 times, including three victories at the Indy 500 (2001, 2002 and 2009) and has won 50 poles. The Brazilian has the habit of celebrating his victories by climbing the fences that line the track.

Helio Castroneves is preparing for his 2018 season by being hired alongside simon pagenaud and Juan Pablo Montoya in Petit Le Mans (Georgia) this weekend on an Oreca 07.
