IndyCar – Sébastien Bourdais, seven years later!

32nd pole position on Saturday and 32nd victory on Sunday during the first race from Toronto to Canada. Sebastian Bourdais has finally returned to Victory Lane since his return to the United States, after an adventure F1 in Toro Rosso. The Frenchman's last victory dates back to Mexico City in 2007 and his last Champ Car title!

" It's really super ! It wasn't easy. We had to struggle and wait a long time, but today was just one of those days where the stars align,
explains the 35-year-old Frenchman. I didn't expect it, because here I know how things can turn out. I was very relaxed before the race, I just did the job and hoped that things would work out in our favor and they did. I couldn't be happier. »

For the second race, the driver of the KV Racing DW12 powered by a Chevrolet unit took 9th place, but hoped for better. “It’s a real shame, because the Sato incident probably cost us a top 5.”
