Ryan Hunter-Reay (Andretti Autosport), Ed Carpenter (Ed Carpenter Racing), Tony Kanaan (Chip Ganassi Racing), Juan Pablo Montoya (Team Penske), Graham Rahal (RLL Racing) and Alexander Red (Andretti Herta Autosport) were all testing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this Monday, August 8 for a Firestone tire testing session. The manufacturer of the discipline tested its prototypes in preparation for the 101st edition in 2017.
If the tests took place normally, the death of Bryan Clauson was on everyone's minds. “You can never get used to it. It's the best thing to be behind the wheel at times like these.", commented Ryan Hunter-Reay, the winner of the Indy 500 in 2014.
