Indycar – Will Power in form at testing in Alabama

Will Power is in good shape. After the first pre-season tests carried out at Sebring, the various players in theIndycar traveled to Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama. Will Power, the 2012 runner-up, was the fastest during both sessions, morning and afternoon. On a circuit he likes, where he notably took pole position before winning last year, the Australian from Team Penske improved the record set in 2012 by more than two seconds (1:09?? 852) with a better performance completed in 1:07??862. Behind him we find Helio Castroneves, his teammate in 1:07:938 in the No. 3 Team Penske car. James Hinchcliffe (Andretti Autosport) completed the top 3 in 1:07:986.

Among the three French people entered this season in Indycar, simon pagenaud is the one who did the best this Tuesday. Poitevin (Schmidt Hamilton HP Motorsports) obtained the tenth best time of the day in 1:08:353. Tristan Vautier (Schmidt Peterson Motorsports) finished 18th in 1:08:592 and Sébastien Bourdais 22nd (Dragon Racing) in 1:09:021. Note that testing continues this Wednesday with two new sessions.
