IndyCar – Will Power bets big on Sao Paulo

Will Power may be more competitive on urban tracks, but his start to the season has remained discreet as he occupies eighth place in the Championship with his best result being fifth at Barber Motorsports Park. Before participating in the legendary Indy 500 event, a victory in the streets of Sao Paulo would be of the best effect for the three-time vice-champion of the discipline who has two successes in Brazil obtained in 2010 and 2012. However, the Australian remains aware that such a performance will be difficult to achieve with the level of the field which has multiple contenders.

“The first three races were very interesting”, admitted Will Power at a press conference. “We had the speed this year but we didn't manage to take advantage of it. I have already had victories on this circuit, but the competition will be very tough. It will be difficult to get a good result this weekend. My approach for this race will be the same as for the others: I need a good weekend to score points in the Championship and take advantage of all situations. I will do my best for this test. »
