IndyCar – Will Power wins the Indianapolis GP

Finally Will Power returned to victory. The title holder IndyCar had to wait until the fifth round of the season to impose its DW12? Team Penske Chevrolet in 2015 and become at the same time the fifth different winner this season. Already author of the pole yesterday, the Australian dominated the debates in Indianapolis, at the end of a race notably marked by the incident at the first corner, involving in particular the New Zealander Scott Dixon (Chip Ganassi Racing? Chevrolet) and Helio Castroneves (Team Penske), two of its most serious rivals on the grid.

Already very lively on the road course at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama during the latest event, the American Graham rahal (Rahal Letterman Lanigan? Honda) once again stood out but once again had to settle for second place behind Power. The Colombian Juan-Pablo Montoya (Team Penske) completes the major trifecta after having resisted the return of Sébastien Bourdais (KV Racing? Chevrolet). Charlie Kimball (Chip Ganassi Racing) enters the top 5.

Winner in this event last year, the French simon pagenaud (Team Penske) will not have had the same success in 2015. At the start of the race, the Poitevin driver was forced to give up following a mechanical problem on the No. 12 DW22.
