Wickens' state of health still worrying

IndyCar has published new information on the state of health of Robert Wickens, the possible consequences of which remain undetermined.

Five days later his accident in Pocono (Pennsylvania), Robert Wickens remains hospitalized at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest.

A new report concerning the state of health of driver Schmidt Peterson Motorsports has been communicated. The 2011 Formula champion Renault 3.5 Series underwent successful surgery this week on his right arm and lower limbs. Subsequent examinations carried out revealed no other injuries compared to those previously noted.

The concern mainly concerns the spinal cord, the extent of the lesion remains undetermined.
