Liberty Media invests in Meyer Shank Racing

Meyer Shank Racing (MSR), a key player on the American scene, both IMSA whether IndyCar, will be able to count on the financial support of Liberty Media for its upcoming deadlines.

The American group, owner of Formula One Group, has thus taken a minority stake in the team led by Michael Shank. A welcome investment for the entity, which in addition to its current program in IndyCar and IMSA (in GTD), will field Acura ARX-05 DPi in the American endurance series in 2021.

“We have worked to build our IMSA and IndyCar programs step by step and it is another great progression for our organization to see Liberty Media invest in MSR, emphasizes Mike Shank.

Everything we achieve is built on the partnerships we have developed, and this program is no different. Liberty Media's investment will allow us to continue to build and develop our programs. »

The team's press release specifies that further information on MSR's 2021 program will be given in the coming weeks.
