Portland and Laguna Seca disappear from the 2020 calendar

The coronavirus pandemic, still very marked in the United States in recent days, and the restrictive measures regarding events bringing together the public will force the organizers of the IndyCar Series to new changes to the 2020 calendar.

The Laguna Seca and Portland rounds will therefore disappear, with IndyCar adding to compensate for an event at the next Mid-Ohio meeting (August 8), transforming the weekend into a double-header. Similar scenario at Gateway on the last weekend of August, where an additional round will be organized.

There will nevertheless be 14 races remaining on the 2020 IndyCar Series calendar.
