Rubens Barrichello leaves IndyCar

Rubens Barrichello seemed to have bounced back well following his departure from the F1 upon arriving in IndyCar within KV Racing Technology where his friend Tony Kanaan played. For his rookie season, the Sao Paulista managed to take 12th place in the Championship and spectators were waiting to see the Brazilian on the starting grids again in 2013. Nevertheless, the former driver Williams seemed to be more interested in Brazilian Stock Car and was expected to turn to this national touring discipline. The news has finally been confirmed: Rubens Barrichello will compete in the entire 2013 Championship with the Full Time Sports team.

“It’s time to make this official.” I am excited to announce that I plan to race in the 2013 Stock Car Championship in Brazil”, commented the Brazilian. “My new home will be Full Time Sports… After representing Brazil for over 20 years all over the world, the time has come to come home. It will be fantastic to ride at home again, allowing me to be closer to my family. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me over so many years. »
