Violently injured on the Indianapolis oval, Sébastien Bourdais, victim of several fractures to the pelvis and right hip, was taken to hospital to undergo surgery.
The Frenchman gave reassuring news about his state of health yesterday on social networks. In a photo he posted on Twitter, he is seen standing with the help of a walker. “I’m not going to go running tomorrow but I’m up!” », indicates the French pilot.
I'm not going to go for a run tomorrow, but I'm up!

A few hours later, he posted a second photo where his team, Dale Coyne Racing, surrounds his hospital bed. He took the opportunity to once again thank everyone who sent him messages of support.
