Simona De Silvestro at the Indy 500 with Paretta Autosport

The new eponymous team ofIndyCar led by Beth Paretta has confirmed its participation in the 105th edition of the Indianapolis 500 on May 30. For this arrival in the premier category of the car American, Paretta Autosport, member of the “Race for Equality & Change” program, has placed its trust in a female driver.

At the next edition of the Indy 500, Simona De Silvestro will be behind the wheel of the Paretta Autosport car. This will be his sixth participation in the legendary event on the Indianapolis oval.

« I am very happy to have this opportunity to return to Indianapolis and compete in the Indy 500 with Paretta Autosport., she confided. My career took off thanks to my Indycar races and participations in the Indy 500. Returning there with Beth (Paretta) this time and its new team associated with Penske is a special and rare chance in my career ».

On May 30, Simona De Silvestro will be installed aboard the No. 16 powered by Chevrolet. Penske will provide technical support to Beth Paretta and her team.
