IndyCar champion in 2004, Tony Kanaan marked his discipline with his feisty temperament and his permanent good humor. Rubens Barrichello's friend (they swapped helmets during the Indy 500-GP weekend in Monaco F1 in 2006) has also achieved success at the 500 Miles in 2013:

Tony Kanaan did not reject the idea of competing in subsequent years in Indianapolis. But a regular pilot position is no longer on the agenda. “The first thing that comes to mind is that I was very lucky to stay at the top of this discipline for so long, he says.

I arrived in Cart at the age of 23, with dreams in my head and I can say, without a doubt, that I have achieved them all. As with everything in life, there are competing cycles. But I'm not done with the race, that's for sure. »
