A condensed program in Texas for recovery

On June 6, the engines will roar again in the United States in IndyCar. If the resumption date of the American series was known, Penske Corporation, promoter of the championship, revealed the program for the Texas event.

An ultra-condensed schedule since practice, qualifying and the race will take place on the same day between the start of practice at 13:30 p.m. (19:30 p.m. French time) and the start of the race at 20:45 p.m. (2:45 a.m. French time). In fact, the length of the race will be reduced to 200 laps instead of the 248 usually contested.

Another important parameter is the health measures to be observed for people present in the paddock, knowing that the race will be behind closed doors. Access will be drastically limited and personal protective equipment (masks, etc.) will be provided.

Physical distancing protocols will also be in place.
