Vernay never stops winning

He took the gamble at the start of the season to go into exile in the United States to pursue his career. Well done given the more than satisfactory results obtained. Arriving as leader before last weekend's meeting, the one who finished second in Macau in F3 last year, once again amazed the specialists.

By taking the lead on the 19th lap to the detriment of James Hinchcliffe, Jean-Karl Vernay earned his third success of the season. Every time he led, the Frenchman won.
Under the checkered flag, the 22-year-old driver was just 0??2 ahead of Hinchcliffe and Sebastian Saavedra, and increased his lead over the first named to the championship.

“It was a very difficult race, said the tricolor on arrival. I didn't know the route when I arrived. The layout is beautiful but really complicated. We improved session after session, and the car I had in the race was excellent. Three wins for a rookie is pretty good. »

In six races, Vernay was on the podium five times. An impressive record allowing it to now have a 37-point lead in the championship. Next round in two weeks in Toronto.
