More than five months after the last race (February 29 in Marrakech), the Formula E regains its rights. This Wednesday takes place the first of six rounds planned on the streets of Berlin over the next nine days.
The opportunity for the pilots to get back into shape after several months of waiting. A big challenge for Jean-Éric Vergne who is aiming for a third consecutive title in the category: “We are back after a very long break. Six races in ten days is unheard of. It’s going to be extremely difficult.”
“I’m ready, the team is ready. We are ready to go to war. Bringing home a third title wouldn’t be bad,” concluded the French driver at DS Techeetah. Eighth in the world championship, 36 units behind leader António Félix Da Costa, Jean-Éric Vergne will have to quickly obtain results otherwise the world crown will slip away from him.
