Jean-Eric Vergne winner without competition in Paris

Starting from pole position, Jean-Eric Vergne (Techeetah) resisted Sam Bird (DS Virgin) at the start, the Englishman barely containing the attacks of Andre Lotterer (Techeetah). At the back of the peloton, a collision between Mitch Evans (Jaguar) and Nicolas Cheers (Renault E.Dams) ruins the hopes of the Frenchman who has to return to the pits to change his rear wing.

The first part of the race goes calmly until the car change. Bird, in difficulty on his second stint, was passed in quick succession by Lotterer and Lucas Di Grassi (Audi) starting 6e on the grid.

While the podium seemed sealed, Andre Lotterer slowed down excessively on the last lap, Di Grassi almost hitting him while overtaking him but Bird was not so lucky and destroyed his suspension against the German's rear wing. But the DS Virgin driver still managed to cross the line on three wheels.

Jean-Eric Vergne wins his third victory of the season in front of his home crowd in Paris and takes a 31-point lead in the championship over Bird. Lucas Di Grassi and Sam Bird finished on the podium. Maro Engel (Venturi) signs his best result with a fourth place ahead Sébastien Buemi (Renault E. Dams). Andre Lotterer still manages to cross the line in 6e place in front of Daniel Abt (Audi). Felix Rosenqvist (Mahindra) limits the damage by finishing 8e and ahead of Oliver Turvey (NIO) and Jose Maria Lopez (Dragon). Nicolas Prost finishes 16the one lap behind the leader.

At the end of the race, André Lotterer received a ten-place grid penalty for the Berlin ePrix (Germany) held on May 19 for having been held responsible for the collision with Sam Bird.
