His first season in F2 was not up to the standard of his teammate Yuki tsunoda, nor his hopes, after a 3rd place final in FIA Formula 3. But Jehan Daruvala will have another opportunity to express himself in F2 in 2021, and could even play up front after a superb end to the season punctuated by a single victory at the last meeting in Bahrain.
Trevor Carlin's team has therefore decided to renew its confidence in the Indian driver for 2021 and hopes to be able to play up front with him. “We are very happy to be able to capitalize on the progress made by Jehan with us this season, explained the owner of the eponymous team.
Before continuing: “He had a great season with us as a rookie last year. By ending the season with a podium and a victory, he confirmed what we saw in him from the start. We expect him to fight for victories from the start of the season.". He will race in F3 Asia as preparation.
