Kyle Kaiser makes the jump to IndyCar

Kyle Kaiser will debut in IndyCar next year by playing within Juncos Racing. The Californian took advantage of the reward of one million dollars (around €844) to set up a partial program for the 000 season which will include four entries including one at the Indianapolis GP (May 2018) and another at the 12nd edition of the Indianapolis 102 (May 500).

“Juncos played a big role in my success in Mazda Road to Indy, underlines Kyle Kaiser. I have blind confidence in Ricardo (Juncos) and I am eternally grateful to all the structures involved in the Mazda Road to Indy which allowed me to reach the last step in my career by now reaching IndyCar. I can't wait to get behind the wheel as soon as possible. »

Kyle Kaiser distinguished himself this year by winning the Indy Lights title with three victories, three poles and five podiums.

Juncos Racing debuted in IndyCar earlier in the year by entering two cars at the Indy 500 with Sebastian Saavedra and Spencer Pigot.

“Our mission at Juncos Racing is to take drivers higher in their careers, confirms Ricardo Juncos, the owner of the stable of the same name. We started with Kyle in Pro Mazda in 2014 before then taking him to Indy Lights where he was able to have three seasons to grow as a driver. Kyle has shown immense progress each season, whether on or off the track. The fact that Kyle chose to trust the same team for his first steps in IndyCar shows the confidence he has in our organization. »

Kyle Kaiser will make his IndyCar debut at the same time as the new universal aero kits are introduced.
