Spa Long Race canceled after accident involving Hubert

A serious pile-up led to the outright stopping of the XNUMX long race. Formula 2, Saturday August 31 in Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium). Three drivers were involved in this accident at the top of Raidillon: Marino Sato (Campos), Juan Manuel Correa (Charouz) and Anthoine Hubert (Arden).

Emergency services quickly intervened thanks to the red flag immediately raised after the impact.

Race management announced that the event would not be restarted. No points will be awarded because the race had not reached 75% of total distance. So there is no winner tonight. More information to come.
