Formula E will be broadcast by Canal+

Canal+ is getting even more involved in motorsport. After the F1, the GP2 Series, the Andros Trophy and WRC, the French private channel will broadcast Formula E after signing a contract for the first three seasons of the discipline with MP & Silva. The races will be broadcast live, but the programming will add event summaries as well as driver interviews to ensure the most complete follow-up possible. Formula E will be broadcast internationally since Fox Sports, TV Asahi, ITV4 and CCTV have also chosen to broadcast the discipline's events live.

“We are very proud to be part of this new discipline in motorsport”, comments Cyril Linette, the sports director of Canal+ Group. “This new competition in the heart of major cities is a superb opportunity to create a new and exciting live TV show for our subscribers who already have F1 and WRC. Canal+ is the motorsport channel in France. »

Canal+ will broadcast the Formula E events on the Sport+ channel reserved for CanalSat subscribers. The season will begin on September 13 in Beijing.
