While Formula E still in its first year of existence, the future seems promising for this electric single-seater Championship. For the first season, the organizers chose to enter a single model powered by a set McLaren-Williams-Renault before opening development for the following years.
Spark Racing Technology, the French company that designed the SRT_01E, has announced that Formula E will have eight new manufacturers for its second year: Andretti, ABT Sportsline, Mahindra, Motomatica, Netxev TCR, Renault Sport, Venturi Automobiles and Virgin Racing Engineering.
Formula E will resume its rights this weekend with the Miami ePrix (Florida).
