Formula E's first night race in Saudi Arabia
The city of Dariya, located on the outskirts of the Saudi capital Riyadh, will host the first race of Formula E disputed at night.
The event will be held on February 26 and 27, 2021 with a double race. The circuit, 2,495 km long, will be illuminated by low-consumption LED lights, reducing energy consumption by 50% compared to conventional lighting.
The lighting will be entirely renewable and provided by a clean source (vegetable oil from sustainable materials).
