Luca Ghiotto (Hitech GP) was the fastest in the winter testing of the F2 in Bahrain. The Italian took advantage of the final session to complete a lap of the Sakhir circuit in 1'41''252, beating by 8 thousandths the reference from the day before established by Jehan Daruvala (Carlin).
Felipe Drugovich (MP Motorsport) was closest in the session with less than a tenth behind. Jack Aitken (Campos Racing) completed the top three in front Mick Schumacher (Prema Racing) and Nobuharu Matsushita (MP Motorsport).
Giuliano Alesi (BWT HWA Racelab) finished the afternoon session in penultimate place just behind his teammate Artem Markelov. Marcus Armstrong (ART GP) was the worst performer but he only completed 3 laps of the track.

The morning session was mainly devoted to race simulations. It was Nikita Mazepin (Hitech GP) who stood out with a time of 1'43''825 allowing him to beat his teammate Luca Ghiotto by 5 thousandths.
