Luca Ghiotto joins Uni-Virtuosi Racing in 2019

Uni-Virtuosi Racing, which took over from Russian Time on the FIA ​​starting grid F2 as of 2019, is complete. The British structure, which had formalized the arrival in its ranks of the Chinese Guanyu-Zhou, formalized the presence of the Italian Luca Ghiotto for the coming season.

Ghiotto played last year for Campos Racing in the accession series to the F1 and will compete in his fourth season in the discipline, having gone through Formula Renautl 2.0, then the GP3 Series (2015 vice-champion behind Esteban Ocon). Ghiotto also took part in the first year of FIA F2 in 2017, under the Russian Time banner.

The Transalpine driver will try to return to victory next year, after a blank year in F2, having won at Sepang in Malaysia in 2016, then on his home soil of Monza in Italy the following year.
