MP Motorsport completes the list

The entry list for the 2019 season F2 is now complete. MP Motorsport is the latest team to have announced its line-up which will consist of Jordan King and Mahaveer Raghunathan.

It's a return to his roots for Jordan King who competed in the 2017 F2 season with the Dutch team before leaving for IndyCar within Ed Carpenter Racing. The former champion of F3 British returned to the winter tests organized in Jerez (Spain) last month by setting the best time. He will complete his program with the WEC where he competes with Jackie Chan DC Racing in LMP2 and the Indy 500.

“I have only good memories at MP Motorsport and I am delighted to have the confidence of the team again. I am certain that we will reach our maximum potential together, commented the 25-year-old Briton. The turbo in F2 was something new for me as I had only driven the old GP2 and I took advantage of six days of testing to get used to this new mount which is fantastic. »

On the other hand, it will be the first steps in the discipline for Mahaveer Raghunathan who previously played in the F3 European Championship and the GP3 Series.

“We had positive tests in Barcelona (Spain) and I will use this experience to have a good start to the season, added the 20-year-old Indian. The presence of a teammate as experienced as Jordan will be very appreciated and I am sure that I will learn a lot. »
