No change of teams for the next three years

The promoter of the Formula 2 lifted the veil on the teams which will take part in the next three seasons in the category. And there are no surprises to report. Increased from ten to eleven teams with the arrival of Hitech Grand Prix last season, F2 will remain at eleven until 2023, with the same teams currently entered in the championship.

In alphabetical order, there will therefore be ART Grand Prix, Campos Racing, Carlin, Charouz Racing System, DAMS, Hitech, HWA Racelab, MP Motorsport, Prema Racing, Trident and UNI-Virtuosi. “We are delighted to renew our confidence in these eleven teams, explained Bruno Michel. They did a superb job and they trusted us regarding the consequences of the health crisis on our sport.”

As it had already done when announcing the 2021 calendar, F2 once again assured that the car would remain unchanged in an effort to reduce costs, “ which means that the selected teams will have experience of the current car and know how to optimize its performance”, added the promoter.
