Driver of the month: Baguette, Hülkenberg, Meeke?

You can elect the driver who marked the motorsport news of the month of September among the three candidates selected by the AUTOhebdo editorial staff, with the collaboration of RMC specialists. We remind you that the eleven elected during the year will be selected for the election of the Driver of the year, which will take place next December. Only one vote is possible per person. It's your turn !

Bertrand Baguette
With three victories under his belt, he won the Formula championship Renault 3.5 Series at the end of its third year in the discipline. First Belgian to win in a major championship car since Jacky Ickx in 1967, he hopes, at 23, to follow in the footsteps of his elder and join the peloton as quickly as possible. Formula 1.

Nico Hulkenberg
Protected by Willy Weber, the German outrageously dominated the 2009 GP2 Series season, winning the title even before the last meeting, at just 22 years old. Winner of F3 Euro Series last year, he should make his debut in F1 in 2010 at the wheel of a single-seater from the team Williams of which he is currently the third pilot.

Chris Meeke
His victory at rally Sanremo allows him to leave Italy with the IRC champion title. To celebrate his 30th birthday, the Northern Irishman triumphed four times at the wheel of his Peugeot 207 S2000. Couvé au début de sa carrière par Colin McRae, il a découvert l?univers du rallye comme dessinateur chez M-Sport avant de troquer son crayon contre un volant. Un pari osé couronné de succès.
