René Rast prepares for his return to Berlin

René Rast got back behind the wheel of a Formula E with the Audi e-tron FE06 on the Lausitzring (Germany) just over a month before the resumption of the championship. The double champion of DTM will replace Daniel Abt, dismissed from the German team after his cheating in Esport in parallel with his commitment to the touring car championship.

“An open car, with a completely different sound compared to what I know in DTM, commented Lucas di Grassi's new teammate. There have been many discoveries in recent days. I was very well received by the team and in Lucas I have a very open and experienced teacher. I had a lot of fun during the first kilometers and I can't wait to continue the races in Berlin, even if I know that the challenge that awaits me is immense. »

However, René Rast is not making his debut in Formula E since he notably participated in the 2016 Berlin ePrix with Team Aguri. The German will be busy next month as he will contest no fewer than 12 races in the space of 23 days with his DTM schedule.
