Alexander Red (Andretti) had no problems on Sunday April 14 at the Grand Prix of Long Beach (California). The winner of the 500 Indianapolis 2016 led all 80 laps after taking pole position. The American won with around twenty seconds ahead of his compatriot Josef Newgarden (Penske). This is Alexander Rossi's sixth victory in IndyCar.
@AlexanderRossi's dominant run at @GPLongBeach puts him in a class of legends with back-to-back wins at The Beach.

The last step of the podium went to defending champion Scott Dixon (Chip Ganassi). The New Zealander initially crossed the line in fourth place, but gained a position thanks to a penalty addressed to Graham Rahal (Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing).
The latter was found guilty of aggressively blocking Scott Dixon on the very last lap. The first Frenchman is simon pagenaud (Penske), who ranks sixth despite a difficult start. Delayed by a slow pit stop, Sébastien Bourdais (Dale Coyne Racing with Vasser-Sullivan – Honda) finished 11th.
The only yellow flag waved occurred on the first pass, when Marcus Ericsson and Jack Harvey (Schmidt Peterson Motorsports) collided around the water fountain turn.
