Sébastien Buemi and Oliver Rowland continue with Nissan e.dams

There will be no disruption of the lines Nissan e.dams for 2019-2020 in Formula E. The Japanese brand and the French team will once again be able to count on the duo Sébastien Buemi –Oliver Rowland to try to get the Drivers and Teams crowns up for grabs from November 22 and 23 in Saudi Arabia.

Author of a great final part of the season, Sébastien Buemi finished 2nd in the last Formula E campaign behind Jean-Eric Vergne, and intends to continue this momentum to regain his throne abandoned to Lucas di Grassi and the Frenchman since 2015 -2016. But beware of increased competition with the arrivals of Porsche et Mercedes.

“There are new manufacturers joining in Season 6, but we have a lot more experience as a team and that will make us more competitive, underlines the Swiss. Having Oliver as my teammate will be excellent.

Continuity is essential. We already have one year of experience working together. So this will be a valuable help. Oliver was very strong last year. I want to beat him, but we need both drivers to be fast to help push the team forward. Having a fast teammate makes me a better driver. »

Author of two second places in Sanya in China and Monaco, Rowland hopes to move up one place this year. “I will have a lot more time to prepare and work with the team to understand how to get a car even more to my liking, believes the Briton.

I think it will make a big difference. I want to be even more competitive this season and start winning races. » Rowland gave Nissan e.dams its first podium at the Sanya meeting.
