Sette Camara on pole in Abu Dhabi

We expected more Nicholas latifi alongside the French team Dams in the qualifications of Formula 2 in Abu Dhabi this Friday, November 29. However, it was his teammate Sergio Sette Camara who won on the Yas Marina circuit, while the future Williams driver in Formula 1 failed to unlock his F2 pole counter.

The Brazilian will start from first place in the Long Race, scheduled for Saturday November 30 from 15:45 p.m. He is ahead of Callum Ilott (Charouz) and the duo from the Carlin stable, Louis Delétraz and Nobuharu Matsushita.

The outgoing champion Nyck de Vries (ART Grand Prix) could not do better than sixth time. Mick Schumacher (Prema) closes the top 10. The only Frenchman entered, Giuliano Alesi (Trident) is 12th.

The session was disrupted by the spin and then the stalling of the Indonesian Sean Gelael (Prema, 17th). Mahaveer Raghunathan (MP Motorsport) achieved a surprising 20th and final time, more than 3”6 behind the poleman.
