Sette Câmara steps up the pace in Barcelona

Sergio Sette Câmara (Dams) was the fastest on the second day of winter testing Formula 2 in Barcelona (Spain), Wednesday March 6. The 20-year-old Brazilian set a lap time of 1'27''392 during the morning session, a time which was never beaten despite the rise in temperatures.

It's another car managed by a French team which finished second, that of Nyck de Vries (ART Grand Prix). The Dutch, the fastest man yesterday, finished two tenths behind. The first beginner is the Chinese Guanyu-Zhou (Prema) in third position.

Jordan King (MP Motorsport) and Ralph Boschung (Trident) tried the Catalan gravel without major damage. The French Anthoine Hubert (Arden) and Giuliano Alesi (Trident), after a timid first half of the day (17th and 18th), increased the pace to record the eighth and 15th time respectively.

The third day of Formula 2 collective testing in Barcelona will take place on Thursday March 7 from 9 a.m.
