Shwartzman joins Mick Schumacher at Prema in 2020
The Prema team will be among the favorites for the 2020 season of Formula 2. The Italian structure leaves for a tour with Mick Schumacher but will especially benefit from thearrival of outgoing FIA Formula 3 champion Robert Shwartzman.
The Russian continues his merry way towards the Formula 1 at only 20 years old. “ This will be my third consecutive year with Prema, we know each other very well and the chemistry is good, he says.
Our goal is to win the championship because we have shown this season that even with a new car, fierce rivals and many unknowns, it is possible to be immediately at the front. »
The son of Michael Schumacher is therefore warned. “I'm starting my second F2 season with some very useful lessons learned, whether it's how to drive the car, manage the Pirelli tires or work in an imposing work environment. »

Mick Schumacher is 12th in the general classification before the Abu Dhabi final and has one victory, acquired since the reverse grid principle in Hungary.
