Shwartzman rematches with Prema

A week after announcing the promotion ofOscar piastri in his team Formula 2, Prema has just revealed the identity of the driver who will accompany the outgoing FIA champion F3. And it is a face and a name well known to the Italian team, since it is Robert Shwartzman who will spend a second season in the anteroom of the Formula 1.

The Russian is the driver with the most victories this season in Formula 2 (4). He even led the championship for a few weeks at the start of the season, before finally finishing 4th, beaten in the rookie championship by the only Yuki tsunoda. The Japanese should logically go to F1, like Mick Schumacher, Shwartzman will be one of the big favorites in the 2021 campaign. 

He will therefore begin his fourth season in red, with Prema, and will be in the car in Bahrain from next week for the end of season tests. “We are very happy to continue our collaboration with Robert, explains René Rosin, the boss of the Italian team. We are really happy with his progress. He has a rare talent and we can’t wait to see him reach a new level with us in 2021.”
